We are seeking an experienced Agile Transformation Consultant to lead and oversee the transition of our department to an agile way of working. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agile methodologies, with the ability to take a helicopter view of the department, listen to the needs of teams and managers, and implement an effective agile framework. This role is not limited to being an Agile Scrum Master but requires a leader who can drive change, foster collaboration, and ensure the entire department operates cohesively under Agile principles.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Strategy:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive agile transformation strategy tailored to the department’s needs.
  • Provide a high-level perspective on the department’s current processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align agile practices with organizational goals.

Agile Coaching and Mentorship:

  • Act as a mentor and coach for teams and individuals, guiding them through the transition to agile methodologies.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation within the department.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate staff on agile principles and practices.

Implementation and Oversight:

  • Lead the implementation of agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or Lean across multiple teams.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of agile practices, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Ensure consistent application of agile methodologies throughout the department.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Engage with stakeholders at all levels to understand their needs and address any concerns related to the agile transformation.
  • Facilitate open communication and transparency between teams and management.
  • Report on progress, challenges, and successes to senior management.

Performance Measurement:

  • Establish metrics to measure the success and impact of the agile transformation.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Agile Coach, Agile Consultant, or in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Lean).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to take a strategic, high-level view while also managing detailed implementation.
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring teams and individuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, SAFe Agilist) is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of English (verbal & written) is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in leading large-scale agile transformations.
  • Strong understanding of change management principles.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and software.
  • Experience in a consulting role within a similar industry
