What will you be doing?
Based on the functional analysis, you will be implementing a technical solution for a feature, and make sure the integration tests are executed. You can make estimations for a desired workload, and within the agile context, you can deliver your tickets on time. You are not afraid of devops tasks.
Next to this, you look with a critical eye to your own solutions and those of you coworkers, and do correct peer reviews. Communication and collaboration within (and outside of) the team is important to you. When issues in production arise, you are flexible enough to cope with this.
Since we are an innovative team, we also expect an interest to the latest trends in the digital world. We would like to see you as a happy, positive personality who can work independently, but also prefer working in a team; both remote at home and in the office (at least 50% in our headquarters of Leuven/Gent). You are flexible and can respond quickly to unforeseen circumstances, last-minute adjustments and, sometimes, tight deadlines. You have a ‘can do’ mentality, and get energy from delivering great results to the customer.
Are you capable?
You have at least 5 years of relevant experience.

• Cloud native development with experience in Python3 and Java (Spring Boot) applications

• Conversational development with preferential Rasa knowledge
• Cloud services: Docker/Podman, Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS, …
• Testing: Unit testing, CI/CD, code analysis (SonarQube, …)
• Design patterns: Adapter, singleton, …
• Scripting: Bash, …
• Security: OWASP, SDLC, OAuth, …
• Databases: PostgreSQL, MariaDB, DynamoDB, …
• Monitoring & logging: Cloudwatch, X-Ray, Kibana, …
• Development: Git, Maven, IntelliJ, VSCode, …
• Collaboration models for entreprises: Scaled Agile (SAFe) & DevOps
Because you are working in an international environment, we expect you to communicate (both oral and written) on a professional level in English (and if possible, Dutch).
